I just love making these rectangular dishes! Each one starts as a slab of clay that is hand formed over a hump mold. Then hand trimmed and smoothed. The fun begins while hand drswing each design into the surface using various techniques to create each design. The final piece is coated with a durable clear glaze and fired to over 2000 degrees! Each one is unique!
